It is important for guidance and counseling teachers to have mastery of skills in implementing guidance and counseling services in schools, one of which is group counseling services. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to carry out group counseling services with a reality approach to guidance and counseling teachers in Indralaya Ogan Ilir. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The data was obtained using observation guidelines with the number of subjects being 10 guidance and counseling teachers which were then analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that guidance and counseling teachers who had the ability to carry out group counseling services with a reality approach were in the good category 50%, the sufficient category 40%, and the less category 10%. The ability to implement the reality approach that is applied in the working stage on the Want technique gets a percentage of 80% with a good category, on the Doing and Direction technique it gets a percentage of 60% with a sufficient category, on the Evaluation technique it gets a percentage of 60% with a sufficient category, and on the technique of Planning obtained a percentage of 70% in the good category. So it can be concluded that the guidance and counseling teachers have good abilities in implementing group counseling services with a reality approach.
