EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK KOTORAN SAPI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (ALLIUM ASCALONICUM L.) VARIETAS BIMA BREBES
This study aims to determine the effectivity of organic cow manure fertilizer on the growth and production of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) Bima Brebes variety. This research was conducted at the Experimental Field of Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya with the coordinates of (104°64'86"E; 3°22'51"S). The research started from May-August 2022. Randomized Block Design (RBD) was used with 1 treatment factor, where the treatment factor was cow manure fertilizer ratio consisting of 4 levels with 3 replications and 3 plants per unit resulting in total 36 plants. The treatment consisted of P0 = 9:0 of soil and cow manure ratio, P1 = 8:1 of soil and cow manure ratio, P2 = 7:2 of soil and cow manure ratio and P3 = 6:3 of soil and cow manure ratio. Parameters observed included leaf length, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf greenness level, leaf chlorophyll, root length, number of bulbs, bulb diameter, bulb fresh weight, bulb air-dried weight, and bulb dry weight. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the application of cow manure fertilizer in the P3 treatment with a ratio of 6:3 (Soil: cow manure) was the best treatment for almost every parameter, but had no significant effect on the parameters of the number of tillers, chlorophyll content, root length and number of bulbs. Keywords: cow manure, shallots
