Variations of the Manggarai Language Dialect of East Nusa Tenggara ABSTRACT The study, entitled "Variations of Manggarai Language Dialects" aims to describe the different dialect variations of the Manggarai language (the difference in the dialects of West Manggarai, Central Manggarai, and East Manggarai districts) in the Manggarai language. To achieve these objectives, the method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This research is presented in three stages, namely (1) data acquisition, (2) data analysis stage, (3) data analysis presentation stage. Obtaining this data by conducting interviews with informants and tapping conversations. Data collection techniques were carried out using recording techniques, listening techniques and note-taking techniques. Due to the location of the research that is not possible for researchers to directly conduct research, this research is carried out online or looking for information through online. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were differences in dialects of the Manggarai language that occurred in three areas of Manggarai district, namely West Manggarai. Central Manggarai and East Manggarai. The results and discussion are presented in tabular form. The theory in this study uses the theory of Morris Swadesh.
