Rice is an the most consumed annual crop by the community in South Sumatera. This study aims to determine the growth and production of rice varieties Inpago 5 with Inpara 8 varieties, and accessions BC1F1 resulted from the crossing of Inpago 5 and Inpara 8 varieties after experiencing submerged stress. This research was started from April 2020 to August 2020 in the greenhouse of Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. Evaluation of accessions BC1F1 resulted from the crossing of 2 superior varieties, Inpago 5 and Inpara 8 with a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 3 replications. The treatments used were 3 rice genotypes, namely: V1 = Inpara 8, V2 = Inpago 5, V3 = BC1F1. Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers per clump, leaf greenness, flowering age, harvest age, harvest index, panicles number per clump, panicle length, grain number per clump, grain weight per clump, grain number per panicle, grain weight per panicle, weight of 100 grains of grain, length of grain, width of grain, dry weight of grain, and percentage of empty grain. Data were analysed using ANOVA and 5% LSD test. The observed variables showed that plant height (cm), flowering age (DAP), harvest age (DAP), and grain length (cm) were very significantly different. The variables of empty grain percentage (%), grain width (cm), and harvest index were significantly different. And the variables for the number of tillers (stems), number of panicles per clump (panicle), panicle length (cm), leaf greenness (SPAD), grain weight per panicle (g), grain number per panicle (panicle), grain weight per clump (g), grain number per clump (panicle), weight of 100 grains (g), dry weight of dry grain (g), and dry weight of pithy grain (g) were not significantly different. The best results in this study were found in the Inpara 8 variety.
