KUALITAS KECERNAAN RUMPUT GAJAH (Pennisetum Purpureum) DENGAN IMBUHAN PAKAN ASAL FRASS LALAT BLACK SOLDIER FLY SECARA IN VITRO
Increased protein in the ration can increase the digestibility of crude fiber in the rumen. In this study, rice straw was added with BSF frass to test its diges tibility. Frass BSF is known to have a fairly good protein content. . Frass BSF is known to have a fairly good protein content. This study aims to determine the digestibility of dry materials, acidity degrees, and shortchain fatty acids by of NPN frass BSF. This research was conducted in Julyin vitro administration August 2021 at the Animal Feed and Nutrition Laboratory, Department of Animal Technology and Industry, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The d ata obtained were analyzed using statistical analysis method Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 5 replications. P 0 grass), P 1 (elephant grass + 5% NPN Frass BSF), P 2 (elephant (Elephant grass silage + 5% NPN Frass BSF). The changes obs erved in this study were The Degree of Acidity, Volatile Fatty Acides (Flying Fatty Acids), and Digestibility of Elephant Grass Dry Materials (Pennisetum Purpureum) The best treatment is found in P2 treatment, in P2 resulting in a higher total VFA and Dige stibility of Dry Materials and P1 performance of high pH values than P0.
