This research aims to find out the types of plants that grow in the area of the former Kaolin mine in Central Bangka Regency. The study was conducted in June 2021. This research is descriptive research. Sampling using cruising techniques. Plants found in critical land as many as 34 species that belong to 3 Division, 4 Class, 13 Order, and 21 Family. The plants that have been found are, Gleichenia linearis, Lycopodiella cernua, Annona muricata, Casuarina equisetifolia, Schima wallichii, Dillenia suffruticosa, Acacia mangium, Mimosa pudica, Albizia chinensis, Samanea saman, Polygala paniculata, Melastoma malabathricum, Terminalia catappa, Terminalia mantaly H.Perrier, Syzygium myrtifolium, Dimocarpus longan Lour., Citrus microcarpa, Hura crepitans, Piriqueta cistoides, Breynia vitis-idaea, Spermacoce pusilla, Spermacoce alata, Praxelis clesmatidea, Crassocephalum crepidioides, Chromolaena odorata, Rolandra fruticosa, Cyperus rotundus, Scleria sumatrensis, Xyris indica, Paspalum plicatulum, Paspalum conjugatum, Digitaria sanguinalis, Eragrostis amabilis, and Imperata cylindrica. The pH state and soil moisture measured in the study showed that the further away from the bottom, there was no significant difference. But there is a difference in the types of vegetation that grows, namely: 1) The further away from the bottom, the number of plant species found decreases. 2) There is a change of type, some types found in zones closer to the bottom are not found in the more distant zones and vice versa. This indicates that there has been a primary succession although it is not yet real. This succession is thought to be unrelated to soil pH and humidity, but there are other factors not studied in the study. The results of the study are used as basic data for further research and a source of learning biology high school Class X KD 3.8 in the form of Booklet. Keywords: Plant Identification, Kaolin Mine, Central Bangka
