This study aims to determine the water quality of the Jasamusi River in Gandus District, Palembang City, using water quality standards and pollution index. Determination of river water quality standards refers to the Regulation of the Governor of South Sumatra No. 16 of 2005 concerning Water Designation and River Water Quality Standards. Water pollution is determined using the STORET index. The results of this study indicate that the water of the Jasamusi River has exceeded the quality of the ClassIII Water Quality Standard. Based on the STORET index, the water quality of the Jasamusi River is categorized as lightly pollutedand moderately polluted. The results of this study were donated in the form of a non�experimental Student Worksheet (LKPD) on Basic Competence (KD) 3.11. Analyzing data on environmental changes, their causes, and their impact on life in Biology subjects in SMA class X even semester.
