This study aims to determine a school principal's policy process regarding the quality of education implemented in SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Using data collection techniques with interviews, questionnaires as reinforcement, observation, and documentation. The results of the analysis obtained regarding the principal's policy at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan are always categorized with a total average score of 13,025. So from these results it can be said that it is good in accordance with the school principal's procedures with reference to the statutory regulations No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National education system. While the results obtained from the questionnaire regarding the criteria for the quality of education are always categorized with a total average score of 13.1375. So it can be concluded that the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Indaralaya Selatan has been going well by implementing and evaluating the school's vision, maintaining the learning environment, creating an interesting and effective learning process, and has run a program to improve school quality and always evaluates the quality of the school. teachers and students in carrying out the learning process so that teachers and students can become professional teachers and students.
