This study aims to prove the effect of the Preview, Questions, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. This research is an experimental type of research that uses a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Postest. The population in this study is all classes of the X Social Studies at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The sample of this study is used Cluster Random Sampling, and the selected sample was class X IPS 2 as the experimental class, which consist of 36 students. The data collection techniques are used tests and observations, and the learning process is used the Zoom Metting application. The hypothesis is used parametric statistics, namely t-test related samples and obtained t-count 7.96 > 1, 669 t table, then the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of cooperative learning model type Preview, Questions, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. It is recommended that students should have textbooks or reading resources in using the PQ4R learning model so that the ongoing learning process becomes more effective.
