KOMPOSISI FRAKSI SERAT RUMPUT MOMBACA YANG DIAMONIASI (PANICUM MAXIMUM VAR MOMBACA)
The aim of this research was to study the Composition of the Mombaca Fiber Fraction which is Monomonized. This research was carried out for 14 days in the nutrition and fodder laboratory of the faculty of agriculture, Department of Animal Technology and Industry, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The treatments were differentiated based on the ammonia treatment on Mombaca grass P0 (Mombaca Grass) and P1 (Mombaca Grass Ammoniation). The parameters observed in this study were NDF, ADF, Cellulose, Hemicellulose, Lignin. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the t test (student t). The results of this study showed that the ammoniation technique with the use of a 2% urea dose for Mombaca Grass affected the nutritional quality content of the crude fiber fraction. Assess the coarse fiber fraction of mombaca grass ammoniation NDF (23.04%), ADF (12.01%), Cellulose (11.50%), Hemicellulose (11.02%), Lignin (4.98%). Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that Neutral detergent fiber (NDF), Acid detergent fiber (ADF), cellulose are significantly different. As for hemicellulose, lignin was not significantly different. In this ammonia process, the Mombaca grass also decreased, in this case the feed was good for livestock consumption. Based on the results of the study above, it was stated that the content of the crude fiber fraction in ammoniated Mombaca grass could reduce the fiber content of Mombaca grass.
