Coffee plants are plantation plants that are classified as annual plants. In the cultivation of coffee plants, there are several obstacles, one of which is the decrease in coffee fruit productivity caused by the attack of the H. hampei coffee fruit borer pest. So that research was carried out in an effort to control to suppress coffee fruit borer pests by using attractant compound traps. This study aims to determine the ability of atrakan compounds in trapping coffee fruit borer pest populations in well-groomed and unkempt coffee plant gardens and other pests trapped in attractant compound traps. This research was conducted in Tanjung Agung Village, Lahat Regency from August to October using the Factorial Group Random Design method. The results of this study showed that the population of H. Hampei coffee fruit borer pests in unkempt plant gardens was more than that of well-groomed plant gardens and the attractants tested had relatively the same ability to trap coffee fruit borer pests. Thus showing that garden care is very important to carry out in the practice of cultivating coffee plants to suppress the presence of coffee fruit borer pest populations.
