This research is entitled "Socio-Economic Life of Coffee Farmers in Semende Darat Laut District, Muara Enim Regency 2010-2019". This study was conducted with the aim of finding out how the socio-economic life of coffee farmers is and what impact it has on the daily lives of the people in Semende Darat Laut District, Muara Enim Regency from 2010-2019. This research was conducted from March 2022 to April 2022 using historical methods with data collection techniques through library research and in-depth interviews with several coffee farmers, community leaders, plantation office employees, and various related parties, while the approach used was an economic approach, sociology and geography. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained information that the socio-economic life of coffee farmers has increased every year. Community life that occurs in Semende Darat Laut sub-district is intertwined between farmers, employees in industrial houses and industrial house owners and farmers and the government. Meanwhile, the procedures, tools, and materials used in the agricultural and coffee production processes continue to evolve from time to time. Starting from the agricultural system which slowly recognizes grade 1 robusta seeds to the coffee production process, which used to only use traditional tools and is now starting to recognize more modern production equipment, in the 2010 to 2019 period there was a significant increase in sales and production. coffee every year. This is evidenced by the increasing popularity of coffee brands originating from Muara Enim Regency to various outside regions and the increasing area of coffee plantations that are now opened.
