KEDALAMAN DRIPLINE PADA POLYBAG IRIGASI BAWAH PERMUKAAN MENGGUNAKAN ARANG SEKAM UNTUK TANAMAN PAKCOY (BRASSICA RAPA L)
This study aims to determine the effect of dripline depth on hydroponic polybag substrates using husk charcoal for pakchoy (Brassica Rapa l). This research was conducted from March to November 2021 at the Agricultural Engineering Plant House, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research was conducted in a plant house using a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) pattern with three levels of lateral depth treatment, each treatment repeated three times. The data observed in this study were moisture content, bulk density, porosity and efficiency of water storage (Es), and the agronomic parameters in this study were root fresh weight, root dry weight, number of leaves and root dry weight. The results showed that the best depth for subsurface irrigation was 5 cm, the closer the emitter distance to the roots, the easier it would be for plants to meet their water needs.
