INTENSITAS CAHAYA DAN JARAK LAMPU PADA PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU (BRASSICA JUNCEA L.) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM HIDROPONIK SUMBU
This study aims to determine the effect of artificial light intensity and lamp distance on differences in the growth of mustard greens. This research was carried out from January 2020 to May 2021 at the Plant House of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, South Sumatra. The method used in this study was a Factorial Randomized Design (RAKF) with three research factors, namely the long exposure and lamp distance with three treatment levels and each treatment combination was repeated three times. The results of this study indicate that the use of light intensity for mustard greens not optimal because the intensity produced does not meet the light needs of mustard greens, but in this study green mustard plants continue to grow even though their growth is slow unlike treatment with the sun. Mustard greens at a distance of 25 cm and 16 hours of irradiation had the best results among the others, while the mustard plants that had the lowest yields were mustard greens with a lamp distance of 75 cm and 8 hours of irradiation.
