POLA DEGRADASI SERBUK PELEPAH SAWIT YANG DIPERKAYA MINERAL ZINC (Zn) SECARA IN SACCO
The Degradation Pattern of Zinc-Enriched Palm Oil Powder by In Sacco. (Supervised by Dr. Ir. ARMINA FARIANI, M.Sc.). This study aims to determine the pattern of degradation (BK, BO, SK and PK) in oil palm midrib by in Sacco. This research was carried out from February to May 2021 at the Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and the Nutrition and Animal Feed Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study consisted of 3 treatments, including P0 (palm midrib powder), P1 (palm midrib powder added 1% mineral Zn), and P2 (palm midrib powder added 3% mineral Zn) which were incubated in the rumen of 2.5 age buffalo. years using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. Parameters observed were degradation patterns which included total digestibility and digestibility rate. Treatment differences were analyzed with the help of SPSS software and Duncan's Test. The degradation pattern is shown by using the Microsoft Excel 2007 degradation curve. The results of this study showed that each administration of Zn mineral levels had a different degradation pattern and experienced an increase and decreased in each treatment and incubation period. The administration of 1% Zn mineral (P1) was able to increase dry matter digestibility (56.23%), organic matter (54.80%), and crude fiber (55.23%), while the administration of Zn mineral at 3% (P2) was able to increase the digestibility of crude protein (72.88%). and also the peak incubation period was seen at 48 hours. Key words : In Sacco, Swamp Buffalo, Oil Palm Midrib, Degradation Pattern.
