This study aims to obtain information related to HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) based questions in the Pancasila and Civic Education book for class X UPT SMA Negeri 23 Ogan Komering Ilir. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, with the techniques of collecting documentation, interviews, and observations. The object of this research is the revised 2017 edition of the Pancasila and Civic Education package book for class X which has been confirmed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In this study, what is analyzed is about reflection, self-assessment questions, civics learning project questions, and competency test questions in each chapter. The results of the study, the content of the HOTS category questions in the books analyzed was quite good with a percentage of 70.71%, with a reflection percentage of 66%, self-questioning questions of 72.57%, learning questions of 88.42% and competency test questions of 55%. So the results of this study show that the questions in the Pancasila and Civic Education subject package for class X UPT SMA Negeri 23 Ogan Komering Ilir are already based on HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) quite well.
