KARAKTERISTIK PERSALINAN PERVAGINAM PADA PRESENTASI BOKONG DI RSMH PALEMBANG PERIODE 1 JANUARI- 31 DESEMBER 2010
Backgroimd. Management of breech presentation changes that lead to the chosen way of cesarean section compared to vaginal. It is associated with risk of perinatal mortality or morbidity. Objectrve. Identify the characteristics of vaginal delivery in breech presentation at Dr. Mohd. llocsin Hospital pcriod 1 January to 31 Decembcr 2010. Methods. Descriptive study conducted in mothers who gave birth by vaginal breech presentation at RSMH Palembang. The study uses secondary data, medical records. The population was all mothers who delivered breech presentation by vaginal in the period 1 January 2010-31 December 2010. Research variables included parity, gestational age, infant weight, history of breech presentation, cervical dilatation, pelvic size, type of vaginal delivery and Apgar score. Results. The majority of mothers who gave birth by vaginal breech presentation was multiparous (47.5%), no history breech presentation (94.2%), gestational age at term (88.3%), weight infants between 2500-3999 grams (74.2% ), the size of pelvis is normal, cervical dilalion > 3 cm (73.3%), spontaneous breech deliveries (49.2%.) and the Apgar value at 1 minute > 7 (76.7%) and also at 5 minute (87.5%). Condusion. Vaginal delivery in breech presentation can be expected in the multiparous mothers, gestational age is between 37-42 weeks, the estimated fetal weight is between 2500-3499, cervical dilation> 3 in early labor and the size of pelvic is normal.
