This research is to know whether or not there is an influence of the imagination suggestion method with the wonderful Indonesian vlog media on poetry writing skills in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. This study used a pre-experimental design method with one group pretest and posttest design research. The sample of this research was students of class X IPA B SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang by giving a pre-test before treatment and a final test after receiving treatment with the imagination suggestion method using the wonderful Indonesian vlog media. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a writing test technique. The data processing technique used the SPSS 25 program. The data analysis technique in this study used the normality test, homogeneity test to find the results of the hypothesis. The average results of the pretest and posttest scores were 61.52 and 81.36, respectively. Furthermore, it can be seen from the results of the t test, the results of the t count = 15,101 > t table = 2,037, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence in the use of the imagination suggestion method with the wonderful Indonesian vlog media on the poetry writing skills of the tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. Therefore, the method of imagination suggestion with vlog media can be used in learning to write poetry.
