This study aims to find out what are the inhibiting factors for entrepreneurship activities for students of Economics Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University in the 2018-2021 academic year. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The population in this study were students of the Economic Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University, for the academic year 2018 to 2021, which amounted to 290 students and the sample in this study amounted to 27 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. There are 14 indicators obtained, namely business management ability, finance, strategic planning, location, product inventory, personal factors, business supervision, experience and skills, business transition, marketing, preferences, socio-culture, uncontrolled growth, and competition. Of the 14 indicators, the most dominant indicator as a factor inhibiting entrepreneurship activities for students of Economics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University in the 2018-2021 academic year is the location indicator with a sufficient dominant category, which is 72%. And the least dominant indicator as a factor inhibiting entrepreneurship activities for students of Economics Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University in the 2018-2021 academic year is an indicator of experience and skills with a very non-dominant category, which is 89%.
