PENGGUNAAN TEPUNG DAUN KELOR (MORINGA OLEIFERA, L) DALAM FORMULASI PAKAN YANG BERBEDA UNTUK IKAN TAMBAKAN (HELOSTOMA TEMMINCKII)
Feed is a very important component for the cultivation process. The raw materials that are used in the production for making fish feeds must have nutritional value in accordance with the fish being cultivated, easily obtained continuously, and at relatively cheap price. Moringa leaves can be included as plant material that can be used as a source of protein in artificial feeds. The purpose of this study is to determine the percentages of the use of Moringa as the best in different feed formulation for kissing gourami. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) that consisted of five treatments and three replications. P0 (0% moringa leaf flour; 30% soy flour; 10% tapioca flour; 10% bran), P1 (5% moringa leaf flour; 25% soy flour; 10% tapioca flour; 10% bran), P2 (10% moringa leaf flour; 20% soy flour; 8% tapioca flour; 12% bran), P3 (15% moringa leaf flour; 15% soy flour; 6% tapioca flour; 14% bran), P4 (20% moringa leaf flour; 10% soy flour; 4% tapioca flour; 16% bran). The results showed that P4 is the best result, with kissing gourami weight growth of 0.77 g, length growth of 0.35 cm, feed efficiency of 17.04%, protein efficiency ratio of 0.47, and survival of 100%. The rearing water quality of fish measured during the study was the temperature ranged from 25.4-29.3°C, pH ranged from 6.6-7.3, and dissolved oxygen ranged from 3.11-4.69 mg L-1.
