This research is entitled "Development of E-modules Using a Bookcreator of Local History Materials for Marga Danau in Class X SMA Meranti Pedamaran OKI". The formulation of the problem in this research is how to develop an E-module using Bookcreator in learning the history of the local history of the Lake clan with a valid and effective Dick and Carey model. This study aims to collect E-modules using Bookcreator that are feasible and can increase students' interest in learning history and to determine the effectiveness of E-modules using Bookcreator that the researchers developed. In the implementation process, the researcher used the Dick and Carey model which consisted of ten stages of research and was applied to class X students at SMA Meranti Pedamaran. To see the validity of the teaching materials developed by researchers, a validation process was carried out by three experts, namely instructional design experts (RPP), materials experts and media experts. From the validation results obtained a value of 80% in the "good" category for instructional design (RPP), 88% in the "very good" category for material validation, and 83% in the "good" category for media validation. The effectiveness of the E-module teaching material strategy trial using Bookcreator is seen in the increase in learning outcomes before and before using the E-module teaching material at the field test stage, namely for the pretest result of 39.69%, and the posttest increased to 81.56% with N-Gain is 0.69. This shows that the E-module learning materials using the Bookcreator local history materials for the Lake clan are valid and effective.
