KAJIAN DAN EVALUASI KUALITAS VISUAL LANSKAP KAWASAN TAMAN KAMBANG IWAK

This study aims to evaluate the visual quality of the landscape and to determine the value of the visual quality of the Kambnag Iwak Park. This research was conducted from April 2022 to July 2022. The research was conducted through distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents with certain criteria which were divided into 3 groups, namely group 1 which is a local community who has visited the Kambang Iwak Park area, group 2 is not a local community but have visited the Kambang Iwak Park area, and group 3 is not a local community and has never visited the Kambang Iwak Park area. Then to find out and determine the value of the visual quality of the landscape in the Kambang Iwak Park area, the Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) method and the Semantic Differential (SD) method were used. The visual quality of the landscape is classified into 3, namely landscapes that have high aesthetic quality (T), moderate aesthetic quality (S), and low aesthetic quality (R). Based on the research results, it is known that the landscape with the highest aesthetic quality is dominated by vintage points 4 and 5, while the landscape with the lowest aesthetic quality is dominated by vintage point 2. Based on the results of the study, it was also concluded that there was a relationship between the results of SBE and the results of SD. Keywords: Kambang Iwak Park, Visual Quality, SBE and SD
