The purpose of this research is to (1) calculate the total income of farmers households from oil palm, rubber farming and non-farm farming activities and their contribution to the total income of farmers (2) analyzing the effect of fluctuations on the income of oil palm farmers (3) analyzing the welfare level of oil palm farmers on the total income received in accordance with the Decent Living Needs Standard (KHL) in Suka Damai Baru Village B5 Sungai Lilin District. This research was conducted in Suka Damai baru Village B5 Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency. The choice of research location was done purposively or intentionally. Data collection was carried out in December 2021. The research method used in this stucy was the Survey Method. This study took 31 samples from the total population of farmers in Suka Damai Baru Village B5 as many as 472 people. Determination of the number of samples used in this study was a simple random sampling method for oil palm farmers in Suka Damai Baru Village B5. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the average oil palm farming income of the sample farmers was Rp4.479.123/lg/month. The results of t-test analysis of farmers incomes at the low price of fresh fruit bunches and at the high price of fresh fruit bunches were significantly different. The price of low fresh fruit bunches or those that experienced a decrease had a significant difference to the income of farmers in the Suka Damai Baru Village B5. With the decline in the price of fresh fruit bunches, the income of oil palm farmers decreases. The results of the analysis of the contribution value of the average income of oil palm farming is 49,59%, while the contribution value of the average income of rubber farming income is 25,93% and the contribution value of the average income from activities outside of farming is 24,48%. The results of the analysis of the Standard of Living Needs (KHL) of farmers are Rp1.964.390/month/person. The difference in the average total income of a farmers family with the standard of family living needs is Rp2.741.961/month, so it can be concluded from the t-test analysis that the total income of farmers due to the decrease in the price of fresh fruit bunches is significantly different to welfare according to the standard of Decent Living Needs (Worthy).
