PENGARUH KELENGKUNGAN SINGKAL YANG DILAPISI PLAT ALUMINIUM TERHADAP HASIL PENGOLAHAN TANAH ULTISOL
The research objective was to determine and study the effect of curvature moldboard coated with aluminium plate on ultisol soil processing results. The method used was Factorial Randomized Block Design which consist two treatment factors, namely the degree of curvature of moldboard (A) and moaldboard coating material (B). The degree of moldboard curvature consists of three levels, namely 120o, 130o, and 140o. Moldboard coating material consists of two levels, namely without coating and coated with aluminium plate. The results showed that the curvature of moldboard and moldboard coating materials significantly affected the yield of ultisol soil processing. The moldboard treatment with a curvature of 140o covered with aluminum plate resulted in the lowest average value of soil adhesiveness, which was 61.58 cm. The short treatment with 120o curvature covered with aluminum plate resulted in the highest average values for the working depth of the plow, the height of the plowed soil, the working width of the plow, and the width of the plowed soil, which were 12,07 cm, 10,47 cm, 15,60 cm, and 21,00 cm.
