KUALITAS NUTRISI RUMPUT MOMBACA (Panicum Maximum Var Mombaca) YANG DIAMONIASI DENGAN UREA
This study aims to study the nutritional quality of ammoniated mombaca grass. This research was carried out for 14 days in the nutrition and fodder laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Technology and Industry, Animal Husbandry Stu dy Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. . The treatments were differentiated based on the ammonia treatment on Mombaca grass P0 (Mombaca Grass) and P1 (Mombaca Grass Ammoniation). The parameters observed in this study were dry matter, cru de fiber, crude fat, crude protein and ash. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the t test (student t). The results of this study indicate that the ammoniation technique using a dose of 3% urea for mombaca grass affects the nutritional quality co ntent of crude protein 20.6%, crude fiber 20.6%, and dry matter 20.4% because ammonia is a form of chemical treatment (using urea) which has been widely used. This is done to increase the nutritional value and high digestibility of the waste. And the crude fat content of 1.2% and 16.2% ash were not significantly different.
