RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI PADI VARIETAS INPAGO 5, INPARA 8 DAN AKSESI BC2F1 TERHADAP CEKAMAN KEKERINGAN PADA FASE GENERATIF

This research aimed to determine the response of growth and production of rice accession BC2F1 and its parents varieties Inpago 5 and Inpara 8 to drought stress in the generative phase. This research was carried out at the Greenhouse of the Department of Agricultural Cultivation and the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir from August 2021 to February 2022. The design used in the research was a Split Plot Design with 3 replications. The main plot is the treatment of drought stress and the sub-plots are the varieties and accessions. The variables observed included plant height, number of tillers, root length, root dry weight, shoot dry weight, leaf greenery level, leaf area, flowering age, number of panicles/clump, number of grain/panicle, number of grain/clump, weight of grain content/clump. panicle, weight of filled grain/clump, weight of 1000 grains and percentage of empty grain. The results of this research showed that the Inpago 5 variety had a better growth and production response to stress in the generative phase than the Inpara 8 variety and BC2F1 accession.
