The role of the institution functions in buildin g and influencing the development of the agricultural sector as seen from the activities of farmers in cultivating food crops, especially rice. The obj ectives of the study were (1) determine the institutional role of rice farmers in Patra Tani Villag District. (2) e, Muara Belida calculate the income of rice farmers in Patra Tani village, M Belida subdistrict. (3) uara determine the relationship between the institutional role of rice farmers in increasing the income of rice farmers in Patra Tani Village, Mu ara Belida District. The location determination was carried out intentionally and the data collection in this study was carried out in March 2022. The data collected were primary data and secondary data. The research method used is a survey method. The res ults of the research carried out can be concluded (1) The role of institutions in helping rice farmers in Patra Tani Village, Muara Belida District, Muara Enim Regency seen from the indicators of learning classes, vehicles for cooperation and production un its gets an average score of 24.38 and is in the criteria tall. (2) The income of rice farmers in Patra Tani Village, Muara Belida District, MuaraEnim Regency has an average income of Rp18.974.633 in one harvest period. (3) There is a strong re per hectare lationship between the role of institutions and the income of rice farmers in Patra Tani Village, Muara Belida District, MuaraEnim Regency where the correlation coeffi cient value is positive at 0.458 which means that the direction of the relationship betwe is unidirectional.
