Research and development of E-LKPD teaching materials based on Google Classroom learning to write news texts for class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang aims to produce teaching materials in the form of E-LKPD that can be used as a tool that supports the learning process of teachers and students. The research method used is Sugiyono's method. The steps consist of: finding out the potential and problems, the data collection process, the product design process, the design validation process, and the design revision process. The research instrument used in this study was the initial interview with the teaching teacher and the distribution of questionnaires to 1 class consisting of 30 students of class VIII. The validation of teaching materials itself is assessed from three aspects, namely language, graphics, and material, which is carried out by 3 expert lecturers. From the linguistic validation process, the score is 16 out of a maximum score of 20, graphic validation is scored 21 out of a maximum score of 25, and material validation is scored 24 out of a maximum score of 25. Based on the results of the research that has been done, E-LKPD writes news texts that are suitable for use. Keywords: E-LKPD, Google Classroom, news text, Research and development.
