Antccedent: Description of germ Pattem and antibiotic sensitivity for patient with diabetic gangrene was very important to be known by all clinician in gave correctness and better medication. Germ pattern and antibiotic sensitivity often changed several time and could diverged in all place, and important to be analysed periodically. Objective: This Research aim to knew the description of germ pattem and antibiotic—itivity of patient with diabetic sensi gangrene in RSUP Mohammad Hoesin Palembang period of 2010. Method: This Research was descriptive research. Data collected retrospectively (secunder) from patient medical record with diabetic gangrene which was hopitalized in RSUP Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in a year, from January until December 2010. Samples as much as 70 people of patient with diabetic gangrene matched with research’s inclusion. Result: From 70 samples, prevalenced of diabetic gangren patient with the man gender was 32 people (46%) more than woman with 38 people (54%). Most bacteria that caused gangrene were Staphylococcus aureus 31 (24,8%), Pseudomonas Aeruginosa 23 (18,4%), and Proteus mirabilis 19 (15,2%). Beside that was found also patients with gangrene who was recurrent with the most germ pattem were Proteus mirabilis 6 (30%), Acinobacter Calcoaceticus 4 (20%), Escherechia Coli 3 (15%) and Klebsiella pneumoniae 3 (15%). The represent of all germ discovered was negative gram bacteria. Discovered that Vancomicin, Imipenem and Amikacin were most effectived against most type of germ at diabetic gangrene’s infection, both of patient which recurrent and also which non-recurrent, while antibiotic of Ceftriaxone and Ciprofloxacin were resistent for patient which recurrent gangrene and antibiotic of Clindamicin resistent to non-recurrent gangrene. Conclusion: From research’s result, inferential that prevalenced of diabetic gangrene in woman was higher men. Most bacteria caused gangrene that took from dermal sample or pus were Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, and Proteus mirabilis. Vancomicin, Imipenem And Amikacin effectived yet to most of germ’s type caused infection of diabetic gangrene, whereas Ceftriaxone and Ciprofloxacin resistent to recurrent gangrene and Clindamicin resistent to non-recurrent gangrene.
