ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services in increasing student confidence during online lectures. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design model. The subjects studied in this study were guidance and counseling students of class 2019 with a total of 10 students obtained from the pretest results in the low category. The data collection technique used by the researcher is the self-confidence scale. The self-confidence scale was given before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Wilcoxon test. The results of the research data show that the average pretest score is 103 while the posttest average score is128. From the data results, the Asymp. sig (2-tailed) value is 0.005 and the probability is below 0.05, which means that group guidance services are effective for increasing student confidence during online lectures.
