PRODUKSI DAN PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SORGUM MANIS (Sorghum Bicolor L. Moench) PADA TANAH PASANG SURUT DENGAN PERLAKUAN DOLOMIT DAN VERMIKOMPOS
This research proposed to determine sorghum yield on application of dolomite and vermicompost on tidal swamp soil. Research has been carried out in Trial Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and soil analysis will be carried out at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from August to December 2021. The method that was used is completely factorial randomized design (CRD) consisting of each of two factors have 4 levels of treatment. The first factor is Dolomite (D) with (D0) 0 x Al-exch/polybag; (D1) 1 x Al-exch/polybag; (D2) 1.5 x Al-exch/polybag; (D3) 2 x Al-exch/polybag. The second factor is Vermicompost with (V0); 0 ton/hectare (V1); 3 tons/hectare(V2); 6 tons/hectare (V3); 9 tons/hectare. The results showed that Dolomite had a very significant effect on soil pH, N-total, P-available, K-exch, chlorophyll content, plant height, dry and fresh biomass, and grain yield.
