HUBUNGAN ANTARA RASIO LDL/HDL PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT JANTUNG KORONER (PJK) DI RSUP DR. MOH. HOESIN PALEMBANG
Background: Coronary heart disease ( CHD ) are the most common causesof death in the world. One of the aspects of the diagnosis of CHD is through the ratio of LDL/HDL. The high LDL/HDL ratio has a high risk of cardiovascular diaseas such as CHD. Objective: To determine the relationship between the ratio of LDL/HDL in CHD patients. Methods: This study is descriptive analytic study based on secondary data from medical record, during 2011-2013. There were 200 samples at MOH . Hoesin Hospital. Results: There were 200 samples obtained. There were 100 patients suffering from CHD, 100 patients of non-CHD. The analysis result shows the p value of a significant between the prevalence of CHD with a high ratio of LDL/HDL. A total 62% CHD patients had a high ratio of LDL/HDL, while the other had low LDL/HDL ratio. In the non-CHD patients, 10% had high ratio of LDL/HDL, while 90% others had low LDL/HDL ratio. In addition, the Prevalence Ratio (PR) was 2,687, means that there is a significant relationship between the 2 fold odds association with LDL/HDL ratio and CHD. Conclusions: There was a significant association between LDL/HDL ratio and CHD prevalence at RSMH Palembang (p
