EVALUASI NILAI NUTRISI RANSUM BERBASIS RUMPUT BENGGALA (Panicum maximum) MELALUI KOMBINASI JENIS HIJAUAN RAWA YANG BERBEDA
Tropical forage in the form of grass is generally high in crude fiber while for crude protein and energy it is quite low, this makes grass unsuitable for use as a single feed, it is necessary to add other feed ingredients. The addition of feed ingredients can be done with ration processing technology in the form of supplementation of swamp forage in ruminant rations. This study aims to determine the nutritional value of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, crude fiber and crude fat in animal feed rations with the addition of a chemical combination of Guinea grass based swamp forage. The method used in this research is an experimental method. The research design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications where, R0 (70% Guinea Grass and 30% Concentrate), R1 (Guinea Grass 40%, Water mimosa 30% and Concentrate, 30%), R2 (40% Guinea Grass, 30% Salvinia molesta and 30% Concentrate) and R3 (40% Guinea Grass, 30% Eleocharis dulcis and 30% Concentrate). The results showed that there was an increase in the nutritional value of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein, while for crude fiber supplementation there was a decrease and for fat supplementation there was no significant effect, this was due to the substitution of different swamp forage, especially swamp forage. Mimosa is high in nutrients and low in crude fiber. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Guinea grass based ration through a combination of different types of swamp forage can increase the nutritional value of the ration, treatment with the addition of swamp forage in the form of Water mimosa increases the nutritional value can be seen from the increase in the value of dry matter content, organic matter, crude protein and the value of low crude fiber content
