The purpose of this study is to calculate the average income of farmers from rice farming in Gunung Jati Village, take an inventory of other sources of livelihood of farmers and calculate the value of their income, calculate the contribution of rice farming to farmers household income and analyze the differences in income of rice farmers in Gunung Jati Village with farmers. rice in Purwodadi Village, East OKU Regency. The research was carried out in Gunung Jati Village, Cempaka Sub-District, East OKU Regency from January to February 2022. The research method was descriptive and survey methods. The sampling method used is simple random sampling with a sample of 45 farmers. The results showed that the income of rice farmers in Gunung Jati Village was Rp16.108.867,16/lg/year and Rp8.859.617,78/ha/year with an average land area of 1.91 ha. The average total household income of farmers is Rp24.748.887,16 and Rp2.062.407,26/month. Based on the results of the analysis, the contribution of rice farming income is 56,27%, rubber farming income is 13,55%, off farm income is 1,02% and non-farm income is 33,73% of the total farmer household income. Based on the results of statistical tests, it shows that there is a significant difference in income between the two research areas as evidenced by the significance value (sig.) smaller than the real level (α) with a value of (0.001 < 0.05). The average income of farmers in Gunung Jati Village is Rp8.859.617,00/ha/mt with farmers in Purwodadi Village of Rp14.903.747,00/ha/mt with a difference of Rp6,044,13,00/ha/mt.
