South Sumatera which has been implementing the National Food Barn Program, has a lot of potential for environmental changes. These kinds of changes make it possible for Mansonia population to increase or decrease in certain regions. The objective of this study is to inventory biodiversity of Mansonia species in several region of South Sumatera. Method: Descriptive study with cross-sectional design was used in this study. The samples were Mansonia species which were trapped from 8 location. Result: The results of trapping Mansonia were 55 mosquitoes from 2 species, 2 Ma. annulifera (3.64%) and 53 Ma. uniformis (96.36%). 89.10% of Mansonia mostly caught by using magoon trap. Mansonia was found in locations where the altitude was 0-51 m asl. Gandus was the location where most Mansonia were trapped (56.36%). The highest Mansonia diversity index was 0.195 for Indralaya. Conclusion: Mansonia could be found in regions where altitude was
