Abstract The objectives of this study are: (1) Analyzing the labor outpouring and labor productivity of oil palm independent smallholders before and during the covid-19 pandemic in Sungai Rengit Village, Talang Kelapa District, (2) Analyzing the income of oil palm independent smallholders before and during the covid-19 pandemic in Sungai Rengit Village, Talang Kelapa District, (3) Analyzing factors affecting the income of oil palm independent smallholders in Sungai Rengit Village, Talang Kelapa District. The method used is the survey method. This research was conducted in June 2022 with a total of 30 respondent farmers. The data processing methods used are paired sample t-test and multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that (1) the outpouring of labor before and during the Covid-19 pandemic has not changed with an average labor outpouring of 87.66HOK /ha / th. Meanwhile, in labor productivity there was a decrease in productivity by 35.59kg /HOK/yr. (2) Based on the results of the statistical paired sample t-test, there was a significant difference in the income of oil palm independent smallholders in Sungai Rengit Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. (3) Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, all factors consisting of labor productivity, fertilizer prices, and pesticide prices have a significant effect on the income of oil palm independent smallholders in Sungai Rengit Village.
