This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility and to know the recommendations for N, P, K fertilization in oil palm cultivation in Lahat District, Lahat Regency. This study uses a survey method with a scale of 1:37,000 and analysis in the laboratory by taking soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm. Soil samples were taken as many as 3 samples from Divisions 1, 2 and 3 where each sample consisted of 5 drilling points which were then composited. The results of the analysis of soil pH are classified as very acidic to acidic, which is in the range (4.10-4.83). Tegolong soil organic C is very low in the range (0.17-0.36%). N-total soil is classified as very low in the range (0.04-0.09%). P-available soil is classified as very low to high in the range (8.59-28.47 mg kg-1). K-available soil is classified as low to very high in the range (0.25-2.23 cmol kg-1). The cation exchange capacity of the soil is low to moderate in the range (12.5-20 cmol kg-1). Al-dd soil is classified as very low which is in the range (0.13 – 0.76 cmol kg-1). The results of the calculation of Urea fertilization are with doses ranging from 182-304 kg ha-1, SP-36 doses ranging from 805-1,352 kg ha-1 and KCl doses ranging from 669 kg ha-1. The recommended optimal dose of fertilizer per tree is Urea 2 kg/tree, SP-36 1.5 kg/tree and KCl 1.5 kg/tree.
