CURAHAN WAKTU KERJA DAN KONTRIBUSI WANITA PENYADAP KARET TERHADAP PENDAPATAN KELUARGA DI DESA NUSA MAKMUR KECAMATAN AIR KUMBANG KABUPATEN BANYUASIN SUMATERA SELATAN
The productivity of the rubber tapper workforce has a very important role as those who carry out operational activities to produce rubber latex that is ready to be marketed. The increase in labor productivity will also affect the income of workers who contribute to household income, where the amount of the contribution depends on the amount of income received by the workforce as rubber tappers. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the working time allocation of women rubber tappers in Nusa Makmur Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, Sumatra. South, and (2) To find out the contribution of women rubber tappers to family income in Nusa Makmur Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. Female workers in tapping activities on rubber plantations can increase family income in addition to the income generated by their husbands. The method used in this research is the survey method. This research was conducted from October 2021 to November 2021 with a sample of 28 women farmer groups. The data processing method used descriptive analysis and used the contribution interval scale criteria. The results showed that most of the reasons why women farmers worked as rubber tappers in Nusa Makmur Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency were caused by economic factors in which family needs increased, the cost of living was getting more expensive because basic materials were increasing, the needs of school children, until the husband's income was right. - barely. Of the 28 respondents, 21 of them or 75% answered that they work as rubber tappers for economic reasons. The average allocation of working time for women farmers to earn a living as rubber farmers in Nusa Makmur Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra is 8.2 hours/day or 246 hours/month with a percentage of 34.16%. The contribution of women's income to the level of family income is 26.94%, where the income contribution ranges from 20.01-30.00%, including moderate contributions. When compared with the income of husband and children, it can be concluded that the income of women farmers is moderate.
