This study aims to determine the effect of the moisture content of a material on the performance of a horizontal type chopper. The research was carried out from december 2020 to October 2021 at the Soil Science Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Inderalaya, South Sumatra. The method used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) using two research factors, namely the rotational speed of the blade (A) and the moisture content of the Irimaterial (B). Each treatment combination was repeated three times with three levels of treatment. Parameter Used in this research are (1) Effective Capacity of the Machine (2) Percentage of Fine Materials (3) Yield.
