PERUBAHAN FRAKSI SERAT BERDASARKAN ANALISA VAN SOEST DARI TEPUNG DARAH DENGAN ABSORBAN BERBEDA YANG DIFERMENTASI BAKTERI BACILLUS AMYLOLIQUEFACIENS
Blood is one of the livestock wastes that can be used as animal feed protein in the form of blood meal. Blood meal is one of the animal feed ingredients that comes from fresh blood, which can be obtained at Slaughterhouses. Constraints in the processing of blood meal is that it is difficult to dry, if the blood meal is heated at high temperatures it can damage the nutritional content of the blood meal. Processing of blood meal by fermentation method is one way of processing that can improve the quality of blood meal by utilizing the activity of microorganisms to remodel food substances. This research aimed to determine the best absorbance in the fermentation process of blood meal derived from plantation waste such as rice bran and palm fronds fermented using Bacillus amyloliquefaciens bacteria to changes in fiber fraction by Van Soest analysis. The method used in this research is an experimental method with t test analysis comparing 2 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used were different types of absorbents, palm fronds and rice bran. P1: palm fronds, P2: rice bran. The result of fiber fraction content t-test of blood meal was absorbed showed the use of palm fronds and rice bran had no significantly different effect (P>0.05) towards change in fiber fraction value of blood meal with palm fronds and rice bran absorbent according to the van soest analysis. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the use of absorbance of palm fronds had the effect of decreasing the fiber fraction on blood meal fermentation with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens bacteria.
