Background: Nosocomial infection or hospital associated-infection is affected of many factors, one of them is nursing rooms which are made available by the hospital. There are many kind and type of nursing rooms that available in hospital such as 3rd class room, the 2nd, the lsl until the WIP room. A poor condition of inpatient room, espesially the physical condition, can support this kind of infection. Result ffom Suwarni’s descriptive study in hospital at Yogyakarta conclude that nosocomial infection has a connection with amount of bacterial floor in poor condition inpatient room. So researcher want to identifying nosocomial infection-rate in lst-2nd-3rd class of inpatient room at Internal Medicine Department Moh. Hoesin General Hospital during 2010. Method: This research is a case descriptive observational study. Data taken ffom Medical Record Centre Dr. Moh. Hoesin General Hospital. The samples were all Internal Medicine inpatient in lst-2nd-3rd class of nursing room which are sign in ffom January until December 2010. Result: The result shows nosocomial infection-rates in Inpatient Rooms of Internal Medicine Moh. Hoesin General Hospital during 2010 is 9,1% which happened in room class 2. This probably affected by inpatient room condition, microbial patogen virulence dan patient also paramedic behaviour which not have awareness to hospital associated-infection. Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is that all cases of hospital associated-infection in Inpatient Rooms of Internal Medicine Moh. Hoesin General Hospital during 2010 are patient in the inpatient room class 2.
