KARAKTERISTIK IBU YANG DI SEKSIO SESAREA ATAS INDIKASI MALPRESENTASI DI BAGIAN OBSTETRI DAN GINEKOLOGI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG 1 JANUARI 2012-31 DESEMBER 2012
Introduction: Caesarean section is the birth of the fetus and placenta through the incision made in the abdominal wali and uterus. The aim of this study is to identify the characteristics of mothers for caesarean delivery on indications of malpresentation at the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology Dr Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Method: This is a descriptive research. Secondary data was collected, by looking at the entire data with medical records that pertained characteristics of mothers for caesarean delivery on indications for malpresentation in Dr Mohammad Hoesin Public Hospital Palembang from January 01, 2012-December 31, 2012. Results: Research shows that from January 2012-December 2012, mothers who gave birth to the indications of fetal malpresentation were 176 cases (14%). Cases of caesarean section among women aged 20-35 years 72.7%. Nulliparous parity cases 46.6%, followed by 52.8% of breech presentation, history of previous cesarean section at delivery was not overly influence on subsequent labor because there were 87.5% cases and caesarean deliveries done at term gestation 88.1%. There are 88 cases that are affected by medical indications and population of 17.0% of premature rapture of membranes. Conclusion: Based on the characteristics of mothers, many caesarean sections are performed on patients aged 20-35 years. Nulliparous are characteristic of the highest parity and most caesarean section performed at gestation 37-42 weeks (at term). History does not affect the Caesarean section delivery onwards. Breech presentation were most found in women who went through this procedure and complications are most widely experienced by mothers who experience premature rapture of membranes.
