PENGARUH BERBAGAI HERBISIDA PRATUMBUH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN GULMA DAN AKASIA ( Acacia crassicarpa)
This study was conducted to determine the most effective pre-emergent herbicides in suppressing weeds growth and its impact on the growth of acacia (Acacia crassicarpa). This research was conducted from October 2021 to January 2022 at PT.Bumi Andalas Permai, Distrik Air Sugihan (2°44'11.7"S 105°18'44.4"E), Sungai Baung, Ogan Komering Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. This reaserch used Randomaized Block Design (RBD) with 4 blocks and 8 treatments, each experiment unit had 20 Acacia plants. The treatments consisted of Control (T1), Isoxaflutole 150 g.ha-1 (T2), Flumioxazine 100 g.ha-1 (T3), Flumioxazine 200 g.ha-1 (T4), Indaziflame & Iodosulfuron 150 g.ha-1 (T5), Indaziflame & Iodosulfuron 250 g.ha-1 (T6), Sulfentrazone 500 ml.ha-1 (T7), Sulfentrazone 750 ml.ha-1 (T8). Weeds parameters observed were weeds coverage, weeds dry weight, summed dominance ratio. Plant parameters were plant height, stem diameter, crown diameter, number of branches, and number of leaves. The results showed that the use of pre-emergent herbicides had a very significant effect for weeds coverage, significantly effect for weeds dry weight, and no significant effect for plant height, stem diameter, crown diameter, number of branches, and number of leaves. Isoxaflutole 150 g.ha-1 had the lowest percentage of weeds coverage (4,69%), the lowest weeds dry weight was found in Sulfentrazone 750 ml.ha-1 (160,00 g), the most dominating weed species was Trema aspera with an average dominance value of (57,35%), and the used of pre-emergent herbicides with active ingredients Isoxaflutole, Flumioxazine, Indaziflame & Iodosulfuron, and Sulfentrazone did not affect the growth of Acacia (Acacia crassicarpa) plants.
