HUBUNGAN PREEKLAMPSI DAN EKLAMPSI DENGAN KEJADIAN ASFIKSIA NEONATORUM DI RSMH PERIODE SEPTEMBER SAMPAI DESEMBER 2013
Background Neonatal asphyxia and hypertension in pregnancies (pre-eclampsia and eclampsia) are the major cause of mortality in mother and infant. Besides that, Neonatal asphyxia and hypertension in pregnancy have a high incidence rate which increases every year. Aim To understand the relationship between pre-eclampsia and eclampsia with the incidence of neonatal asphyxia at the NICU departement of RSMH Palembang during period of September until Desember 2013. Method The type of research that was used analytical research with case control design. There were 165 infants used as sample, which were 55 infants as case and 110 infants as control. Data were obtained by using registration data in NICU departement of RSMH Palembang and by interviewing parents from inpatient infants at the NICU departement of RSMH Palembang. Result From the analysis of the chi-square test it was found that there was a significant relationship between preeclampsia and eclampsia with the incedence of neonatal asphyxia with p value equaling to 0,027. Conclusion There was a significant relationship between preeclampsia and eclampsia with neonatal asphyxia incident at the NICU departement of RSMH Palembang.
