PENGARUH VARIASI ARUS LISTRIK DAN JARAK KAMPUH PENGELASAN TERHADAP DISTORSI SAMBUNGAN PELAT BAJA KARBON RENDAH DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN LAS SMAW
Welding of low carbon steel plate joints must pay attention to distortion problems that occur during the welding process or after the material has cooled. In this study, an analysis was carried out to determine whether there was an effect of variations in welding current (90, 100, 110 A) and seam distance (1, 2, 3 mm) in SMAW welding on the distortion of low carbon steel ST-37. The results of data analysis show that there is an effect between increasing the welding current and increasing the knitting distance on the resulting distortion, the greater the current and the knitting distance used, the greater the distortion that occurs. The largest distortion is found at 110 A current with a distance of 3 mm which gets a strain of 1.9 mm and a distortion angle of 2.2°. And the smallest distortion occurs at a current of 90 A with a distance of 1 mm which gets a strain of 0.5 mm and a distortion angle of 0.6 °
