This study aims to determine the factors that cause adolescents to participate in wild races in the Jakabaring Palembang area. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were five people. The data collection techniques used were documentation, interviews, and observations. The data validity test used includes credibility test, transferability test, and dependability test. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done before, it can be concluded that there are two factors that cause teenagers to participate in wild racing, namely the first is the factor of themselves, the number of members who join this wild racing community because they feel challenged to win a race. The second is the peer factor, where teenagers join the community and participate in wild racing because of peer influence. Keywords: Causative factors, wild racing and motorbike community.
