ALOKASI WAKTU KERJA DAN PENDAPATAN WANITA TANI KARET DI KELURAHAN GUNUNG KEMALA KECAMATAN PRABUMULIH BARAT
Rubber is one of the main commodities in the plantation sector. In the Prabumulih area of South Sumatra, the village with the largest rubber production is Gunung Kemala. Farm women and housewives in Gunung Kemala Village help their husbands work by tapping rubber. The number of activities carried out by a woman as a housewife as well as a worker creates a division of the types of women's working time, namely in economic and non-economic activities. This study aimed to calculate the allocation of working time for women farmers in economic and non-economic activities, determine the factors that affect the allocation of working time for women farmers in rubber farming activities and calculate the income of women farmers in Gunung Kemala Village. The research activity was carried out from May to June 2021 in Gunung Kemala Village, West Prabumulih Sub-District. The data processing method used was the descriptive quantitative method. Quantitative data analysis was carried out by the tabulation method, which was processed using excel program. Statistical data analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS version 25 program. The data collection method was through direct interviews. The Gunung Kemala Village Office, Prabumulih Plantation Service, BPS Palembang City, and Prabumulih City provided secondary data for this study. The results of the research that have been carried out show that the average allocation of working time for women farmers in Gunung Kemala Village in non-economic activities is 33.8 hours/week, while in economic activities it is 32.1 hours/week. This shows that the allocation of working time for women farmers in non-economic activities is higher than in the economy. The SPSS test with F test (simultaneous) showed that the independent variables simultaneously affect the dependent variable. The results of the t test showed that each independent variable, namely age, land area, education level and type of work had a significant effect on the variable allocation of working time for women farmers in rubber farming, while farming experience and number of family members had no significant effect. And the average total income of women rubber farmers in Gunung Kemala Village was Rp33.233.258 per year, while the average total income per month was Rp2.769.438.
