Background: Surgery was treatment that use invasif method and cause injury. General anesthesia, regional, and local used during surgery, so patient does not feel pain during surgery, the patient can feel pain after effect of anesthesia was lost. This study was aimed to describe the profile of management of postoperative orthopedic & oncology surgery ward Installation (Orthopedic and Oncology) at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Methods: A descriptive study on 35 patients orthopedic post-operatif and oncology post-operatif with general anesthesia were done on November- December 2013 in the Hospital Dr . Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This study was used VAS (Visual analoge scale) pain measurement. Results: Thirty five (35) samples that have severe pain 20 respondents (57.%), moderate pain 9 respondents (25.7%), and the unbearable pain (17.1%). Conclusion: The scale of pain on patients with post-operative orthopedic surgery with general anesthesia and oncology that are found on patient severe pain intensity
