PEMERIKSAAN HISTEROSKOPI DAN HISTOPATOLOGI PADA PASIEN DENGAN PERDARAHAN UTERUS ABNORMAL DI BAGIAN OBSTETRI DAN GINEKOLOGI RUMAH SAKIT Dr. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE 2011-2013
Background: Hysteroscopy is an endoscopic procedure that allows a gynecologist to get a direct visualization of the uterine cavity and cervical canal. One nof hysteroscopy indication is abnormal uterine bleeding. Histopathologic Jinding (gold Standard) became the guidance for the diagnosis of hysteroscopy examination. The aim of this study was to know the characteristics of patients with abnormal uterine bleeding and the results of hysteroscopy and histopathology examinations. Method: This study was a descriptive research toward 116 patients at medical record Polyclinic of Gynecology and Inpatient at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital in the period of2011-2013. The samples were taken by using total sampling technigue. Result: Abnormal uterine bleeding patients was the most common in 40-49 years (44,8%) and 40.5% are civil employees. Patients with abnormal uterine bleeding in senior high school had 38.8%. Patients with multiparity history were 58.6%. Patients with obesity reached 37.9% and there were 75.9% patients with normal blood pressure. The cause of abnormal uterine bleeding was PUA-P (polyp) which was 36.2%. Patients who had done the hysteroscopy and curettage procedures reached 70.7%. The most matching result were found in hysteroscopy dan histopathology examinations was 75,9%. Conclusion: Patients with abnormal uterine bleeding mostly occurred at the agegroup of40-49 years old. The most common job was civil employees and the patients of abnormal uterine bleeding were found in senior high school level. The most common caused was of abnormal uterine bleeding was polyp. The most given treatments were hysteroscopy and curettage. The most matching result were found in hysteroscopy dan histopathology examinations.
