This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the Theme of Various Jobs in grade IV SD Negeri 23 Lubuklinggau by using teaching materials based on local wisdom. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 3 cycles of action. The research subjects were students of class IV, totaling 22 consisting of 8 women and 14 men. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The results showed that the value of student learning outcomes has increased, this can be seen from the success of students in the first cycle with the acquisition of a score of 68 as many as 10 students or 45%. In the second cycle, the success of students increased with the acquisition of a score of 68 as many as 14 students or by 64%. In cycle III, the success of students increased with the acquisition of a score of 68 as many as 20 students or 91%. This is supported by the results of observations, the activeness of students who experienced an increase in the first cycle by 78.5%, then increased in the second cycle by 86.36%, then in the third cycle by 97.15%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the application of teaching materials based on local wisdom can improve student learning outcomes on the Theme of Types of Work in class IV SD Negeri 23 Lubuklinggau. Thus, the researcher hopes that Lubuklinggau Local Wisdom-Based Teaching Materials can be used by teachers, especially in thematic learning of types of work.
